On Tuesday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, visited Lutsk State Technical University
During the meeting with the teaching personnel and students, V. Lytvyn emphasized the necessity of the state practice of the specialists order. First of all it concerns engineer specializations the prestige of which have been reduced due to the state policy. "If we do not have specialized engineering stuff, the country will not have definite economic, industrial and intellectual face hence, we possess common task: renewing of the industrial strength of Ukraine basing ion innovational technologies and due to the state order of the young specialists", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
The Leader of the Parliament also deems it necessary to efficiently organize the students´ externship. "I have visited today one of the universities laboratories and noticed that the student have their experience on training machines instead of enterprises", - V. Lytvyn stated. According to him, enterprises, institutions and organizations of all property forms are supposed to be interested in the students´ externship.
V. Lytvyn has repeatedly made the point that the second education is supposed to be a study-for-fee form of education and criticized income-oriented approach to the national system of education according to which the young generation is involved into the study-for-fee education on the popular faculties with the low level of education quality.
As it was informed previously, V. Lytvyn is staying with the working visit in Volyn region.
